Olé
The Umami Factor...
When I think about food, I always picture food that has sweet, sour and salt combined to make a masterpiece. Art if you sum it up. Not many places can balance it. Ole is one of those places to me that is very close to restoring it.
An unexamined meal that brings smile and joy is worth the visit.
Menu
Clean and neatly organized into few sections. You can't go wrong with any of the choices. In the mood for Tacos? Order UP! Mood for sandwiches? Made right in front of you! You decide what your food will be! You start from the base, which is the menu and then add more (chicken, beef, more beans, guacamole..) and make a MEGA-GIANT-DELICIOUS piece of food-art!
Decor
Outside, mosaic tiles make it stand out from nearby buildings. As you walk through double doors, you get the feeling of crossing dimensions. Immersed in the Mexican culture, you notice the small and intricate details coexisting in harmony. Bold colors and dim lights blend in beautifully to create a cozy feeling.
The place has an open concept with two sections for food and bar. Seats are evenly spaced-out, and they have spread around for your mood. Near the windows are the best spots!
My Order

Experience
Central to Inman Square took about 15~20 minutes. My friend and I walked on the narrow sidewalks to get there. The closer I got, the anticipation and excitement raced my mind. I knew what I had wanted before I got there. Planned to notify the cooks how I wanted my food, but they seem to remember. We ordered our food. A stranger sparked up a conversation about the taste of the food.
The food, conversation, and weather seemed to be on point and exactly how it should have been. I took the first bite of the sandwich; my craves disappeared. All my senses were on another level. I love the venue, the people, and the food. I am sure to find myself there again.
